If back in 2015 somebody had told me that in 2017 I would set up and run Winederful Hostel & Café in Logroño, I would not believe them. Actually, I would certainly have denied due to the fact that then I was living in Bilbao where I have 15 years of accumulated experience as an engineer in my field: industrial assembly. But life is a long trip full of surprises and twists. Definitely this is one of the most exciting experiences I could ever live. With my husband’s support, I decided to embark on this project attracted by one of my biggest passions: travelling.
Launching a hostel in Logroño and trying to harmonize the cheerful, alternative and multicultural vibe we saw during our stays in other European hostels, as well as offering quality services more likely to a hotel, meant a valiant effort. However, the journey is being incredible so far, and the experience unique. The initial feeling of dizziness is gradually disappearing.
Nowadays, Winederful Hostel & Cafe already has the charm we were looking for, and it seems to attract different people from different backgrounds such as friend groups, families, pilgrims and travelers overall, either national or international ones who can chose between booking a private room or sharing dorm. Furthermore, we are in the heart of the old town of Logroño, where the art, culture and gastronomy of the Rioja capital are felt in a very particular way.
